3’ by 4’ MDO, (3’4” 2-sided wood on this piece). Lettering enamel with a number of plastic gems set into forstner-bit cut holes.


I designed the Bohemia logo (including the typeface) and cleaned up the Tooley’s logo a bit. I probably painted about a dozen signs for lovely Tana over the years! This piece took about 20 hours.

 

 


 

 

A closeup of the sign. The gems actually twinkle at passers-by, adding movement and attracting interest, plus OZMA really likes sparkly things.
My longest product test with these gems is 5 years (in San Francisco) so it remains to be seen how they will fare in the desert.
