I used 3/4” 2-sided MDO for this piece to give stability, as it is post-mounted. Lettering enamel, dutch metal, copper tacks and glass beads (dropped into deep forstner-bit cut holes), 3’ by 6’.
I wanted a bit (well maybe a lot) of casbah flair on this piece...original design, plus fabrication and installation.

The green lines are less than a sixteenth inch. Small holes were predrilled before the copper tacks were pounded in.
